| Subject: | OS 3.5 and WinUAE |
This may not be the correct place to look for these answers but I am
going to ask anyway. I just purchased the OS 3.5 CD and I am unable to
get it to install in WinUAE. I have installed it on my Amiga 2000 at
home, but I would like to get it installed on my laptop since I am away
from home frequently and want to play with it. I have gone as far as
creating a new Work volume, installing 3.1 from disks, installing
Picasso 96 and getting the Preinstall to work. As soon as I attempt a
3.5 install, when I click the Accept button on the license agreement,
WinUAE hangs and I have to restart it. Is there any way to manually
install OS 3.5 from this point. Also, I have a question about TCPIP that
is included with the CD. I have read that it is not the full version. Is
this accurate? I haven't had enough time to play with it. The TCPIP
stack was one of the main reasons I bought OS 3.5. Any answers would be
most appreciated.
